Kimchi Chicken Wings

Made with Mizkan Kimchi Base Sauce

Kimchi Base Sauce


  • 75g quick prep Kimchi
  • 100 ml Mizkan Kimchi sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Juice of a lime
  • 1 teaspoon rapeseed oil
  • 50ml water
  • 12-15 chicken wings 
  • Lime to serve


  1. Prepare the marinade by adding all of the ingredients to a food processor and blitz to form the sauce.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  3. Take a third of the sauce and toss over the chicken wings to lightly coat. Place the wings on top of a wire rack over a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Halfway through, brush a further third generously all over the wings (the sauce is fairly liquidy, brush liberally).
  5. Bake for a further 15 minutes until cooked and caramelised. Place on a plate and brush over the remaining sauce.
  6. Serve with a wedge of lime.
