Roast Beef Salad with Wasabi Style Dressing

Wasabi Sauce and Dressing


  • A cold piece of rare roast beef rump
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 long red chillis
  • 250g rocket
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 100ml wasabi dressing


  1. Slice the beef rump (against the grain) as thin as you can.
  2. Slice the red onion thinly.
  3. Julienne the red chilis.
  4. Toss the sliced beef, onion, chilli and rocket with the wasabi dressing, coating thoroughly.
  5. Layer on a plate and sprinkle with the lemon zest as a garnish.
