Salmon and Avocado Sushi

Made with Mizkan Sesame Sauce and Dressing

Sesame Sauce and Dressing

  • 40ml Rice Vinegar
  • 20g Sugar
  • 10g Salt
  • 100g Sushi Rice
  • 11g Seaweed (Yaki Nori)
  • 50g Spinach
  • 70g Salmon
  • 40g Avocado
  • 5g Wasabi
  • 5g Chives
  • 3g Pickled Ginger (Gari)
  • 20g Mizkan Sesame Dressing

  1. Start by cooking the sushi rice by using an electric rice cooker and following the cooking instructions. Remember that sushi rice always requires the same amount of water to rice.
  2. Once the rice is cooked and cooled, warm up the vinegar, salt and sugar in a saucepan until they dissolve and then pour over the cooked rice to season it.
  3. Blanch the spinach and then put in ice-cold water to stop it cooking.
  4. Cut the salmon, avocado and chives into sticks in preparation for the sushi roll.
  5. Place the seaweed flat, cover it with rice and then place the salmon, avocado, chives and cooked spinach on top of this in the centre of the seaweed.
  6. Roll your sushi.
  7. Cut in 8 pieces with a sharp knife and plate.
  8. Garnish with the wasabi, gari and serve with the sesame dressing.
